Welcome to "MapleDrop" (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). The App is developed and operated by Hangzhou Shuling Technology Co., Ltd. (Registered Address: Room 405-1, Building B4, No. 2 Shuyun Road, Yuhang Street, Yuhang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province) (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). We take your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, as well as the rights you enjoy. 1. How We Collect and Use Your Information

In order to provide you with file transfer, device interconnection and related services, and to ensure the normal operation and security of the App, we need to collect and use your following information:

1.1 Information Required for Core Business Functions

• File Transfer and Management: To achieve the core function of sending and receiving files, we need access to your Storage permission (Read and Write files). This is to read the files you choose to send and save the received files to your device.
• App Sharing: To allow you to extract and share apps (APK) already installed on your device, we need to use the Query All Packages permission to obtain the app list.
• App Installation: When you receive an app installation package (APK) and choose to install it, we need to use the Request Install Packages permission to assist you in completing the installation.
• Local Network Device Discovery: To discover other devices for mutual transfer within the local network, we may request Location permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION). In the Android system, scanning the Wi-Fi list or using Bluetooth to discover devices usually requires location permission, but we will not record your geographical location trajectory.

1.3 Auto-Start and Associated Launch Instructions

To ensure the normal operation of App functions, our App may auto-start or be associated with a launch in the following scenarios:

• App Installation and Uninstallation Monitoring: To update the installed app list in the "App Sharing" function in a timely manner, we monitor system broadcasts for app installation and uninstallation (android.intent.action.PACKAGE_ADDED / PACKAGE_REMOVED). When you install or uninstall an app, the system wakes up our App's broadcast receiver to refresh the list. This process is only used for data updates and does not keep unnecessary services running in the background.
• Network Status Monitoring: To maintain connection stability during file transfer, we may monitor network connectivity change broadcasts (android.net.conn.CONNECTIVITY_CHANGE), to prompt or auto-reconnect when the network disconnects or switches.
• Time Synchronization Monitoring: To ensure the accuracy of file transfer timestamps and correct logging, we monitor the system time setting change broadcast (android.intent.action.TIME_SET). When the system time is manually modified or synchronized, the App receives this broadcast to synchronize internal states and ensure the accuracy of transfer records.
• Third-Party SDK Auto-Start: Third-party SDKs integrated into this App (such as the Pangle Advertising SDK) may monitor system broadcasts and trigger auto-starts to provide advertising services, anti-fraud detection, or ensure service stability. These behaviors are controlled by the third-party SDKs, and we have required them to strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations.

1.4 Third-party Services and Data Collection

To provide advertising services (to support the free development of the App) and statistical analysis, the App integrates third-party SDKs. These third-party services may collect your device information. The specific details are as follows:

2. Permissions Application and Usage

The App may apply for the following system permissions during operation. You can manage these permissions at any time in the system settings:

• Storage: Used to read the files you choose to send and save the received files. Refusal of this permission will result in the inability to perform file transfers.
• Location: Used for Wi-Fi Direct connection and obtaining Wi-Fi name (SSID) to discover local network devices, and also used by the Advertising SDK to deliver region-related ads.
• Read Phone State: Mainly used by the Advertising SDK to obtain device unique identifiers (such as IMEI) for ad anti-fraud and frequency control.
• Camera: Used only when you choose to scan a QR code to connect devices.
• Install Unknown Apps: Only applied when you attempt to install a received APK file.

3. Information Storage and Protection

• Data Storage: This App is a privacy-focused transfer tool. Except for necessary ad requests and relay connections (when P2P cannot be established), your file data is primarily transferred directly between devices (P2P) and will not be uploaded to our servers for persistent storage.
• Data Security: We use encryption technologies (such as HTTPS/TLS) to protect the security of data during transmission.

4. Data Deletion and Account Deletion

• Data Deletion: We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide core services (e.g., account synchronization, relay transmission logs). You can request the deletion of your personal information at any time. For information collected through third-party SDKs, you can refer to the respective third-party's privacy policy to exercise your right to deletion.
• Account Deletion Entry: If you have registered and logged into an account, you can apply to delete your account within the App via: App Settings -> Application Settings -> Account Deletion.
• Consequences of Deletion: After account deletion, we will stop providing services related to that account and delete your personal information or anonymize it in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, unless otherwise specified by laws and regulations (such as retention periods for transaction records).

5. Your Rights

According to relevant laws and regulations, you have the following rights:

• Access and Correction: You can access the settings page within the App to view your configuration information.
• Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw authorization for permissions such as storage and location through device system settings. After withdrawing authorization, we will no longer collect the corresponding information, but may not be able to provide the corresponding services.

6. Protection of Minors

We take the protection of minors' personal information very seriously. This App is primarily intended for adult users. If you are a minor, we recommend that you read this Privacy Policy with your guardian and use the App after obtaining your guardian's consent.
